My Sister's Visit

My sister and her husband Johnny owns a company that makes exhaust pipes for quads and other things. So this weekend they had a race in Toutle, Washington. It was a bout an hour and a half away from our house in Oregon. Johnny and the boys flew in his plane and Tammy flew commercial into Portland. So I picked her up at the airport Friday night. She stayed the night and then we took Jordyn with us up to the races to see Brandan and Riley race on Saturday morning. Brandan broke a ball joint (I know what that is now) early in the race, so he was out. It was a bummer, but I was just glad he didn't get hurt. Then Riley took 4th place in his division. His best finish yet! We couldn't stay for Johnny's race because we had to get Jordyn back for her soccer game, but Johnny took 1st place! Must be the Motoworks exhaust!! I brought Tammy and the boys back with Jordyn and I and everyone got to play and visit the rest of the day. Then on Sunday I left both girls with Daddy and took Tammy and the boys back to the track for the Pro Race. What a great adrenaline filled race. Their Pro-Am rider placed 2nd and their Pro rider placed 2nd also. All three winners in the Pro race had Motoworks pipes...does that tell you anything? So the boys stayed at the track to fly home with Johnny and Tammy and I headed back to my house because her flight didn't leave until early the next morning. That night Tammy and I enjoyed a great dinnner just the two of us and we got to spend some great sisterly time for the whole weekend.

The Ugly Bug Ball

Here's the girls in their dance outfits. They had pictures taken last week and the girls were so excited to wear their costumes. I think Jordyn asks about every hour if she can wear hers. I told her they need to wait until after their recital and then they can wear them as much as they want. I didn't know they were going to let us see their dance that day, good thing I had my camera in my purse. Only problem was it only let me take 3 pictures because the battery was dead. So another mom is supposed to be emailing me some, so here is what I have for now!
Ashlyn was concentrating on remembering all her moves!
They are bugs and they dance to the song "The Ugly Bug Ball"
