Del Mar Fair

So excited to go to the Del Mar fair, we missed it last year because we were in Oregon. This is our favorite fair!

Gotta ride the elephants...even though every time I have images going through my mind of the elephant breaking loose with my girls on them and trampling everything at the fair....I really do I'm not even joking. But I try not to put my fears on my kids and so far it's never happened. But it can happen...I've seen it on t.v.

Horse Racing

Look at Ashlyn...she's usually the chicken! On this day she was livin' on the wild side. Rode every fast ride and even put her hands up on all of them!

The girls love riding these...they know its a "Daddy ride". This and the Ferris Wheel are the 2 scariest rides to me. Too high!!

Up, up and away

Onna had the girls pictures taken with these parrots.

The girls loved it so much, they kept asking to hold them again.

We went with with family and friends. Our friends little boy Aidan was so sweet. Him and Ashlyn were best buds.

They loved holding hands. I like to think of them as friends....Ashlyn on the other hand, calls him her boyfriend!

Medieval Times

Our last trip to Medieval Times was 3 years ago. Ashlyn was 2 and Jordyn was 3 1/2. They were so excited to see the horses. As soon as I took this picture I remembered taking this next one...

Ash wouldn't take her picture with the blue night, but she insisted on having her picture taken with this guy. Maybe a little crush...she is boy crazy already!

Pirate Adventure

Also in Buena Park is Pirate Adventure. It's like Medieval Times...you eat dinner while watching the pirates show on a huge ship in front of you. We took the girls here one night. We were cheering for the red pirate!

Ashlyn liked the princesses in the boat!

It was a great show and good food! The girls loved it!

Knott's Berry Farm

We got season passes to Knott's Berry Farm because Darrick's office is right down the street. So we've been a couple times now. The girls love it! Ash got picked for the Snoopy show!

Daddy and Jordy

I took this picture because Jordy looked so big and she was the only girl! Ash is afraid of this ride...it goes up and bounces back down a little at a time. She doesn't like anything that tickles her tummy! That's why she's our princess!

Soccer Camp

The girls did a soccer camp and they LOVED it! Ash was a little shy, but it helped having her big sister there. She did a lot of watching, so this soccer season will be interesting! She says she wants to play, but we'll see if she really gets out there and plays! Jordyn on the other hand, is ready and can't wait to play!
