HAVASU!!

As soon as we heard we were moving back, all we could think about was trips to Lake Havasu this summer! Well we just got back from our first one and it was everything and more than I remembered it to be. The girls are at the perfect age for the boat now, they LOVE it!
Ash, Jordy, Justin, Paul, & Ryan
Our friends Paul and Julie and their 2 boys came with us. The girls loved having other kids to play with!

We had some boat trouble as soon as we dropped it in the water. Which was very frustrating since it was in the shop for a month before getting a tune up, oil change, new battery, and anything else you can think of. The kids didn't mind, they were busy swimming. The mechanic at the place we were staying was on his first vacation in 28 years...of course, isn't that always what happens. So instead God sent us Frank...I say this because he really came out of the blue and came over in another boat and asked if Darrick needed help. He was a certified Mercury boat mechanic, which is the maker of our boat. After 2 hours he found the problem (the kill switch) so we all hopped on the boat for a quick tube ride.

The sun was just about to set and it was dark by the time the last 2 kids went and we came in.
Everyone got a chance to drive the boat!

Justin and Jordy liked to go crazy fast!

Ash and I liked to watch. I love having a buddy who's just as afraid as I am.
Waiting for her next turn on the tube.
Love my little lake girls

Likes to be right by Daddy, watching what's going on
Ash and Ryan liked a quiet mellow pull behind the boat

Here's the dare devils again

We stopped by the London Bridge to have our lunch and swim

Daddy finally got his turn!
Soaking up the sun!
Like I said...always by Daddy's side. Helping him make the hamburgers and hot dogs.
Jordy wanted me to take this picture
Waiting for Daddy to get the boat trailer, so we can get on the road and head home.

Can't wait for our next trip in July!!

Kindergarten Graduation

Jordyn was so excited to show everyone all the songs and poems she's been practicing!

Thank you Meme, Auntie Tammy, Auntie Kelsie, and Nana for coming to her graduation. It meant a lot to her that you were there!

Firestation Field Trip

Jordyn went on a field trip to the Fire Station with her new school. Have I mentioned how much I love being home and seeing Jordyn with all of her friends!

Sea World

We had a great day at Sea World for Mother's Day. Ashlyn was finally tall enough to ride Atlantis, although I don't think she'll be riding it again anytime soon. She was brave through the whole thing, but said she didn't want to ride it again.

Last time we were at Sea World with Onna & Papa, the girls saw this fish and loved him. So they really wanted to go back and see him again.

They love to hold the starfish!

Jordyn's favorite thing to see is the stingray's. She would stay there all day if I let her. Darrick found one over in the corner that just sat there and let you pet him.

They were in heaven!

The girls are also tall enough to ride this ride all by themselves. Darrick and I were so happy, since it makes us both so sick and gives us a headache. Spin away girls...
