My sister and her two boys, Brandan & Riley took us down to their beach house in San Diego for a couple of days. We dropped all of our stuff off at the house and then headed over to Sea World for about 5 hours. Since it was Spring Break they were doing fireworks at 9pm so after the Shamu Rocks show we went to my sisters beach house to watch the fireworks from her rooftop. The kids got to enjoy the whole show but by the time I got up there I got to see only one firework go off. Tammy got to see the left over smoke in the sky, but at least the kids enjoyed it. So we got the kids in their pj's and my girls said they were hungry. We had an early lunch and now they were awake so late I knew they probably were hungry. So I left to grab them something to eat just down the street. Well I got their food and just as I was leaving, Tammy called and said both girls were sound asleep on the couch. My girls never fall asleep watching TV or not in their beds, so I was shocked! This is what I saw when I got home...
Looks like they had a rough day at Sea World!!
Uncle Johnny was flying into San Diego the next morning so he met us for breakfast and joined us in another day at Sea World.

We had a blast at Sea World. After that we went back to the beach house to get some time at the Bay before we left. The beach was packed for Spring Break, so we opted for the more family friendly Bay. That worked good for Ashlyn because she hates the waves, won't even go near the water. Jordyn loves to boogie board and she scares me with how far out she goes. So I was happy to go to the very quiet Bay. My best friend Gina and her 2 girls Jenna & Jillian met us there too! All 6 kids had a blast playing soccer in the sand, splashing eachother, and learning about ghost shrimp from the diver guy that came out of no where. Thank you to Gina for bringing snacks for everyone to enjoy, our kids hadn't eaten all weekend...HeHe!!
Jordyn was up first and Ashlyn was taking forever to wake up, so we told Jordyn she could go look at her Easter basket without Ashlyn. She got 2 bathing suits, a movie, a notepad, a little purse with chapstick and a necklace and lots of yummy candy in her basket.
Ashlyn decided to wake up about 30 minutes later and was so excited to see her basket. Can't you see the excitement on her face?
Now she's waking up more. She was happy to get Stuart Little.
She was even happier about her 2 bathing suits.
Look at all the eggs Ashlyn found. Jordyn found a lot more, but she did have about 30 minutes to scope them all out while Ash was still sleeping.
Ash gets a lift from Daddy to help her get the egg on top of the fireplace.
