Black Eyed Jordyn

You've heard of the Black Eyed Peas?? Well I have a black eyed Jordyn!!
Last night after walking her to the bathroom (while she was still half asleep) she fell out of my hands and hit her face on the tile in the hallway.

I was so scared to look because the sound was pretty loud. I was praying she didn't need stitches again...I don't want to go through that again. What a horrible way to be woken up out of your sleep...she had no idea what happened.
She said, "Mom, take a picture like this."
Poor thing! It is getting more purple as time goes on. Needless to say, I will hold onto her very tight now when taking her to the bathroom at night.

Ash's new hairstyle

So Ash has been saying for awhile now that she doesn't want bangs. She begs me all the time to pull them back. So today I gave in. Not sure how I feel about it yet...but she loves it!!

Emily's 13th Birthday

We met up with Natalie (Darrick's sister) and family at ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney for Emily's 13th B-day.
These girls sure do LOVE to see their cousins!
Like Mother...Like Son

After dinner the kids flocked to Uncle Mickey! The 3 girls sat on his lap for the rest of the time!

The yummiest cake I've ever had (Mickey's mom made it). Seriously I can taste it right now and now I'm craving it! She made cupcakes of it too!

We spent 5 hours there and it flew by. The kids loved getting to play games with eachother and I loved getting to visit with Natalie while the big kids (our husbands) played games with the kids.

Softball

Jordy just had her first softball game. We are having so much fun watching her play!
Their Banner
Cute buckets that all their stuff goes in for the game.

First time up to bat...she hits the first live pitch and runs to first base!!
Playing in the outfield. Jordy is on the left and Jenna is on the right.

Jordy with her coach behind her

She missed 4 pitches so they brought out the T for her to hit off of.

Here are some video's...the first one is Jordyn being announced, the next one is Emma cheering for Jordy...she says, "Hit the ball Jordy" "Good job Jordy"

Daddy Daughter Dance

Jordyn had a Daddy Daughter Dance at her school. She was so excited to pick out a dress. She practiced her dancing every night for a week. To say she was excited is an understatement!

Ash was sad at first that she didn't get to go, but we went to my neighbors house and she got to play with the other younger siblings that couldn't go. So that made it easier for her.
Posers!
She loves her Doggies!

She is definitely not camera shy!

And she is definitely a Daddy's Girl!!

Valentine's Day

I seriously have the best husband ever! He knows just how to spoil me and make me feel special. After 17 years together (10 of them married) he makes me feel so loved! And I love how he includes his little girls in it all too!
We answered the door to some beautiful Tulips from my hubby!
Then 10 minutes later there was another knock on the door and it was these yummy chocolate covered strawberries!
The girls and I cooked dinner and set the table and waited for Daddy to come home. They were so excited to surprise him!

My tulips beginning to bloom
If there's one thing that my husband does, it's that he makes me feel loved and so very special. I love all the little things he does for the girls and I to show us how much he loves us!

My Project

We bought this table for the girls to have for outside. We didn't realize it came in two seperate boxes and had to be assembled. Well I am the official assembler in our house. Darrick has no patience for that and I actually enjoy it.
The first box was the table and the benches

They were pretty basic and didn't take too long.
Then on to the side seats...now these were hard!
All the screws and washers
Very confusing directions
But at last it's finished...my fingers are red and sore from that darn allen wrench.
Isn't it beautiful? I know this is probably the most boring post, but I'm so proud of my hardwork. The girls LOVE it!!
